The Cure, Anouk, Kasabian, Kyuss Lives!, The Ting Tings, The Asteroid Galaxy Tour, Major Tom, Ben Howard, Afghan Whigs, Will and the People.
Sunday 27th of May:
Linkin Park, Soundgarden, The Kyteman Orchestra, Racoon, Babylon Circus, Keane, The Wombats, Mastodon, Chase & Status, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Bombay Bicycle Club, More acts to follow…
Monday 28th of May:
Bruce Springsteen & The E-street Band, Mumford and Sons, The Specials, Seasick Steve, Gers Pardoel, James Morrisson, The Hives, Herbert Gronemeyer, Blood Red Shoes, Paul Kalkbrenner, Chef’ Special, Serena Pryne & The Mandevilles, More acts to follow…
Now my dilemma; I don’t know half of the line-up and thus the only acts I am interested in to see are definitely Linkin Park and Mumford and Sons. The acts I probably want to see next to these if I’m going anyway are the Ting Tings, The Cure, The Asteroid Galaxy Tour, Soundgarden, Keane, the Wombats, James Morrisson, and the Hives. So only 2 that I really want to see… Should I go?
i hate when you finish a cup of yogurt or pudding or something like that and you don’t want to get up to put the spoon in the sink so you just leave it sitting in the cup but the spoon is too tall for the cup and it falls over
So this probably sounds stupid to the people who already know about this style or group of people or whatever you called it but…
I’ve always loved the, what I thought was a mix of the old-circus/neo-Victorian/Army style outfits but could never really place it anywhere. As you can see I can’t even describe it properly right now. Today I found out that is does have a name and that it is a certain style and not something I imagined xD > Steampunk. Inspired outfits that are to be found on Polyvore are like this:
The group Panic at the Disco is maybe one of the best examples to give of today’s popular culture.
It has this gothic feel to it but it’s not gothic as you can see. A vintage mix of feminine and masculine clothing with lots of dark colours. I absolutely love it :)
Of course the original subgenre is more extreme with (for girls) corsets and dresses and stuff but it’s a great inspiration source.
